ABOUT US

In a small town called Malacca, a collaboration of skilled and seasoned industry of professionals with solid background in construction, engineering and business was formed as Leopad Trading in 1992, to provide scaffolding services to the surrounding vicinity. Leopad Trading provided the highest level of workmanship, through professionalism and solid dedication to the clients' needs and soon she expanded to other regions and beyond. To meet with the market demand, Leopad Trading combined with professional experience, lead to the establishment of RM Leopad Sdn Bhd in April 1995 and began to focus on the industrial services market.

After experiencing dynamic growth and in response to our customers' needs, Leopad subsequently offered bundled services of portfolios to include insulation, fire proofing, blasting and painting services for sectors of Oil & Gas, Chemical/Petrochemical, Power Plant, Fertilizer, Refineries, virtually every type and size of facility is represented and added to existing scaffolding capabilities. Since its establishment in 1995, the business continues to expand in multi-service labor management as well as geographical location. With Leopad's voracious assertiveness, the company has shored up its presence in Malaysia. The company expanded its territory to other states of Kedah, Perak, Pahang, Terengganu, Johor, Labuan and penetrated to Dubai and Nigeria. Leopad has garnered a reputation as a reliable and highly skilled project partner. Leopad a partnership striving to redefine services to the heavy industry sector, has earned recognition as a dependable, extremely competent global leader in providing highly skilled management, effective training programmes, state of the art technology and material supply. By consistently maintaining high standards at all levels, we deliver excellent lasting value and top-notch craftsmanship as evidenced by our projects.

The Quality Assurance and the Quality Management System have been certified pursuant to the standards ISO 9001 and this is reflected in all areas of the business, from yard stock control and office procedure through to on-site activities. Within a short span, we were awarded certification in ISO 14001 (Environment), and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational, Safety/Health). We work hard to establish an integrated quality, environmental, health and safety management system.

The Management Team at Leopad recognizes one of its key priorities to be its commitment to Health and Safety Management. The company strives continuously to adopt and adapt working practices to not only meet, but exceed the requirements of the latest legislation. Leopad's working practices are continuously subjected to appraisal through the employment of an external, safety consultant. All the site staffs are trained in-house or by a Third Party Certified independent trainers. It is paramount for every member of our organization to understand and be committed to adopt safe working practices.

This progression allowed the company to acquire a 5½ -storey building in 2004. Leopad became the owner of a detailed office complex located in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Wisma Leopad. All the operations are consolidated and centralized in Leopad Head Office with regional Leopad offices located in Kulim, Sitiawan, Malacca, Gebeng, Paka, Pasir Gudang, Labuan, and Dubai.

The business, which originally began as RM Leopad, has grown to include seven separate and distinct corporation known as Leopad Capital Sdn Bhd, Dura International Sdn Bhd, InsulRef Sdn Bhd, Leopad M.E.I Engineering & Constructions Sdn Bhd, Leopad Holdings, Leopad Dubai L.L.C and AGS-Leopad JV (Nigeria). The descendants of the original RM Leopad today run the companies which is now known as Leopad Group

Elsewhere in Dubai - with its deep pockets and energetic diplomacy - has successfully quest to lock in long term supplies in Dubai and its surrounding region. This growth is not restricted to annual turnover, but is also reflected in the company's broadening client base and diversification into different industry sectors.

Leopad Dubai L.L.C, strengthened its position in the marketplace. The company's mission is to exceed our customers' expectations as the quality leader in providing immediate solutions to clients needs. The company's goal, to ensure this high level of customer service and the company's success, includes a commitment to investing in our people to foster growth, financial well being, and an entrepreneurial spirit for the company.

We are looking forward to capitalize on growth opportunities in the market to expand our business and customer base. Dubai branch had benefited tremendously from its parent company, Leopad Group, Malaysia - through the transfer of business and technical smart partnership, which had enabled Dubai branch operation to grow to where it is now. Having a good reputation and performing well in Dubai, the company took the opportunity to expand its presence in Nigeria as AGS-Leopad JV. The support service is provided from Dubai branch and one of the most important elements in the company's strategy is to strengthen its position in fast-growing Nigeria market.

Having a group turnover of RM200 million, the business continues to be challenging. Leopad is arguably the most established multi-service labor management in Malaysia, but she still needs to move faster to stay ahead of the competition. Our focus remains in expanding our core business and building a stable and diversified, yet synergistic revenue streams. As Leopad Group embarks on its next growth phase, it will create greater recognition among customers and business associates. Leopad now has a much stronger platform to further strengthen its capabilities and also to seek out other growth opportunities in Malaysia and overseas.
