Main Ingredients Coming from a multi-racial family, I was blessed with having enjoyed the unique pleasure of celebrating Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, as well as Christmas. Celebrating not only the occasion, but the delights of coming together with family and friends to ‘makan’. And so, with the diverse cultures within my own family, Julie (my wife) and I decided to open up our very own ‘makan’ place - Restaurant P’riok Steamboat. The reason we chose a steamboat restaurant is because it offers both variety and an avenue to customers to come and literally ‘share a meal’ with family and friends. The name Priok, (conjured by Julie) was derived from the Malay word ‘periuk’ and chosen for its relativity to our business. Unique and trademarked, it also adds a touch of Malaysian charm to the restaurant. Positioned by the lake, and graced with a multi coloured water fountain, Restaurant P’riok invites its customers to unwind and dine amidst serene settings under the stars. P’riok was established in 2009 and officially opened for business on 25th Jan 2010. We are a 100% Halal concept restaurant that caters to all ages and races. P’riok is a halal steamboat restaurant catered for all ages young and old to enjoy a steamy pot of treasures by the lakeside.
Buffet Steamboat The buffet steamboat is priced at RM29.90+ for adult and RM12.90+ for kids below 11 years old. The buffet steamboat is inclusive of a choice of rice or noodles (varies daily), fruits, desserts (ice-cream and fruit cocktail), free-flow cordial drink. You can also grill your steamboat items.
P’riok Speciality "Creamy Butter Prawns" a must have when you are in P'riok. And not forgetting the ever refreshing "P'riok Pelangi" a combination of 3 types of fruits. |
