    Sri Mahkota Seafood Restaurant's owner, Mr. Beh Kim Seng, nickname called ‘lou ma', which is also the restaurant's main chef. He comes from Ipoh, Teluk Intan. When he was child, he has a great sense of taste. He has a desire to own a restaurant when he grown up. In the world of cooking, he can be recognized as one of the top professional chef.

    Even though he only educated until the grad of primary 6, he never give up of achieving his dream. To become a great chef, he began his step by being a kitchen helper at a young age.   

      By helping in the kitchen, he suffers a lot of difficulty. It is not as easy as it looks to be a good chef. If anything goes wrong, it might be the endof his cooking life. However, he has been through all the challenges to success. After several years of cooking, he gained many experience. He learnt to be one of the greatest cookers by his knowledge.   

    By this, he moves further by opening his own restaurant. First, he has to understand his knowledge to the seafood. Thus, he went to the sea to do research towards the seafood such as crabs and fishes.According to him, he said that "the seafood needs to be as fresh as pure in order to attain the customer's need".   

     During 1995, he begins his first restaurant of seafood, at Kuantan, named with ‘Foo Yong Restaurant'. By that time, he created two dishes of seafood called salted egg crab and salad fish. The result shows the high popularity of it. Besides providing seafood, the meal is also suitable for all religions. He serves pork free to all the customers. This is because he hopes that everyone can have the chance to taste the meal he served. This is also the reason why it attracted many honored guest to attend to his restaurant.
