PUTERI ENGINEERING & COMPANY ( PEC )was registered under the Business Name Ordinance (Cap 64 ) on 2^nd December, 1978 by Mr.George Toh Kin Siang. The principle activities of PEC is to import and export machinery and engineering parts, initially for Kuching and eventually the whole state of Sarawak. With the industrialization pace in Sarawak picking up in the late 1970’s, it was Mr.Toh’s vision that power tools and industrial equipment will be necessity in the state.

PEC today is the SOLE DISTRIBUTOR/AGENT for the Brands Tools, Air Compressor, Arc Welder & Welding Consumables, Switch Gear, Electric Chain & Wire Rope Hoist, Water Pump and other related products for the territory of East Malaysia, Labuan & Brunei. Demands for the products is expected to continue to experience steady annual growth far better than then major competing brands.
