Mega Mount Industrial Gases Sdn Bhd (MMIG) was incorporated in November 1997 by a group of industry veterans with a proven track record in the gas industry.
Located in Senai Industrial Park, Johor Bahru, it began operations in the year 2000 with gas refiling facilities as well as distribution of welding and safety products. Today, MMIG has successfully expanded its business to become a major supplier of industrial gases, high value gases such as Medical, Pure and Special gases, as well as welding and safety products. MMIG supports various industries in the Southern Region of Peninsular Malaysia such as Shipbuilding, Offshore Fabrication, Construction and Manufacturing.

Plant Facility & Production Capability
MMIG boosted its manufacturing capabilities by setting up a new Dissolved Acetylene (DA) plant in 2011, ensureing that customers in the southern Peninsular Malaysia can have timely delivery of Acetylene gas. The new DA plant includes a modern and highly effective filter press to ensure there is no environmental damage during the production process.
Operational Excellence
MMIG is amongst the first industrial gas companies in Malaysia to fully implement the Cylinder Management System (CMS) where every MMIG cylinder is tracked and monitored via bar code. This allows MMIG to utilize its asset efficiently and reduce costs to its customers.
