About Us
May Flower Restaurant, one of the finest Chinese restaurants around Sabah Capital, has a 25-year history since its inception in Keningau, which makes it one of the longest established restaurants in Sabah. It has moved to its current location in Jalan Bundusan, Penampang on 13 January 2005 to bring its exceptional Chinese cuisine to within convenient reach of more people.
The air-conditioned classic Chinese restaurant boasts splendid decor with its distinctive interiors and exteriors featuring a combination of traditional touch and modern comfort that befits its reputation as an award-winning restaurant.
May Flower Restaurant is famous for its mainly Cantonese and Malaysian delicacies such as Suckling Pig, Roast Duck with Chinese Bun, Smoked Gourmet Duck Breast Meat and Otak-Otak plus an extensive selection of oriental favourites and its signature dishes as well as fruits-based specialties.
Among its signature dishes are steamed Tilapia Fish with Spicy Sauce, Deep Fried Tilapia Fish, Asam Curry Fish Head, Dual Flavour Prawn, Roast Duck, Crispy Hong Kong Style Roast Chicken, Cheese Sweet Mango Chicken, Ginger Sesame Oil Kampong Chicken, Double Flavour Bone, Dry Curry Deer Meat, May Flower Beancurd with Crab Meat Sauce and the list goes on.
The wide array of dishes that are meticulously prepared with the finest fresh ingredients by highly skilled are affordably priced. The restaurant also caters for Chinese set or buffet packages for wedding function, birthday celebration, full moon celebration, gathering, meeting, longevity dinner, company function, tour groups and others.
The two-storey restaurant with elegant décor with the reception counter and grand lobby on the ground floor while a ballroom on first floor and VIP rooms on ground floor. It can accommodate up to 80 tables and opens from 10.30am to 2pm and 6pm to 10.30pm.
