What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) ?
In simple terms,
It is the process of breathing 100% oxygen in a high pressured environment.
This type of medical treatment is more familiar to the diving community for treating decompression illness know as " the bends".
However, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is now more easily and commonly used. It is now not only used for treating decompression illness, but is internationally recognised for the treatment of other medical condition such as:
