Formally known as Eastern Hotel, D'eastern Hotel is one of the well established budget hotels in Ipoh. Under the new management, it has gone through a total face lift and renovation in Dec 2010. Everything is new but the timber wall furnishing is retained for nostalgic reasons. The owner wants the guest to have a pleasant stay in the hotel and memorable impression of Ipoh. All rooms are equipped with LCD TV and with free WIFI internet access.

It is located at the heart of old Ipoh town business center, surrounded by Banks, money exchanges and shopping centers. It is also located within walking distance to many popular restaurants, hawker centers, and western food outlets. It is also near to the local wet market, and the weekly night markets (pasar malam).

 

It is also strategically near to many places of interest in Ipoh. Currently there is a weekly "Ipoh walk" to visit some of the historical sites in Ipoh, Ipoh old town and is being organized by Ipoh Tourist Department.

 

Taxi services are easily available. Major Shopping centers like Jusco, Tesco is about 15min drives away. Route leading to the main federal highway, main bus terminal and air port is also about 15min away.
