CORPORATE HISTORY
Since its inception in 2000, BE-CARD (M) SDN BHD has built up a solid track record in the design, manufacture and sale of Plastic Cards. Formely known as Christec Trading, the company assumed its present name - BE-CARD (M) SDN BHD - July 2000 pursuant to a corporate restructuring. With the restructure, the Malaysian partners in the erstwhile joint venture acquired the total interest of their foreign partners. BE-CARD (M) SDN BHD is now a one hundred percent Malaysian corporation. Under the style of its earlier name Christec Trading, the company was incorporated on 3rd July 2000 and was initially involved in the design and manufacture of plastic cards.
OBJECTIVE
To supply the best quality of cards, delivered when our customers need the product, even if we have to manufacture within 36 or 48 hours. From its initial business, BE-CARD (M) SDN BHD diversified into plastic cards with the establishment of a plastic card plant in 2000. Since then the company has established itself as a leading manufacturer of bank cards, prepaid telephone cards, membership cards, student ID cards, authority cards, hotel key cards, door access cards, privilege cards, staff ID cards, blank cards, name cards with calendar, medical cards, discount cards and a host of other such-like cards. Their sophistication aside, BE-CARD's cards, made from the highest grades of plastic, are imbued with an extreme degree of physical flexibility which makes them higly durable. As a pioneer in Malaysia of plastic cards, it was inevitable that BE-CARD also set the trend towards its next generation, viz. the smart card, a development which is revolutionizing the industry with its incredible capabilities and potentials. BE-CARD also a Bureau Operation where plastic cards are embossed and / or encoded, if required-for customers whose card issuance volume does not justify the procurement of card processing equipment. And for clients whose volume justifies the procurement of card processing equipment, not fret, BE-CARD has set up subsidiary company to take care of just that! The range of equipment this company has in the offing is described in the last few pages of this brochure. The smart card is set to revolutionise the plastic card industry worldwide and will soon become as indispensable as the computer in all business applications.
